I look forward to Maker Faire every year. Held at the San Mateo Event Center, it’s a massive DIY festival where makers of all kinds collide. Crafters, hackers, artists, tech geeks, urban farmers, families and more all come together over two days to tinker, invent, and create. I particularly love visiting the Bazaar Bizarre, an indie handmade market featuring a wonderfully curated selection of crafters and artists.
This year, I’m doubling as a press photographer not only for DI&Q, but also for my beau, who happens to be a technology journalist (lucky me!). So expect a photo recap next week!
